I Was Having Fun
Sometime past. After the machine was placed
into bodies, a reign of light covered the earth. After the clouds of ignorance
cleared, it was clear the ravishes of beauty had marred the land. A harmless old
man kicked up dust as he walked. Like the dew of dawn, he glistened with
thought. He'd be captured again.
A heartwarming chuckle escaped his lips.
Heaven was his, with all it's bliss. It was apparent he knew that this was his
gift.
Sometime later, the twentieth century began,
by a wordless stream of unrelated events. The harmless old man was riddling
again. With the generation of words, a new disease appeared. All that could be
said about it was value or dread, a lack of interest caught everyone short. The
machine worked well. The bodies didn't. A third party found through any sun sat
suspended, existence, without time or meaning. I wanted to talk, but I must go
to the other thought. The harmless one chuckled, and away I went looking for
him.
